Advent Christian Teens (ACT)
Affirm 2010 will be held in Berry College, GA - June 20-25. All
youth who have completed grades 6-12 by June 2010 are
included. Applications are available online and with Penny
Walker.
We have designated funds available to help send youth to
Affirm. Interested youth need to see Penny Walker for forms or
you can go online at http://www.elca-ses.org/YYA-Events.html
The cost is $350 if you register by May 1; after that it increases
to $400. We ask that families pay the $200 deposit and the
church will pay the balance. If the deposit is a problem, contact
the youth committee, and we will see what we can do. There is
also a limited number of scholarships available through the
ELCA. The final deadline for applying is June 1.
