• Congratulations to Elizabeth Hawkins: Elizabeth was elected as the youth
    representative to the ELCA church-wide Assembly in 2011. Not only will she be one
    of 12 voting members representing Southeastern Synod, she will also serve as
    President of the Southeastern Synod Lutheran Youth Organization.

  • Vacation Bible School - We would like to thank all that helped with "Hero
    Headquarters" VBS. We had 39 children that attended each and every night.

  • Inbetweeners: Please join us for a pool side party at the Millers on July 24th at 6:00
    PM.

  • WELCA: The next meeting of WELCA will be held on July 26th at the church. The
    Social time will be at 6:30 PM hosted by Chris Kokemueller. WELCA business will
    begin at 7:00 PM.

  • July Giving Tree: This month's tree will be dedicated to the collection of children's
    books for needy kids. Please donate your "gently used" or new books and we will
    make sure they get to someone who will be greatly appreciative.

  • Men’s Bible Study: A new bible study has started. We meet at the McDonalds near
    the corner of Memorial and Northfield on Wednesday mornings at  6:30 am. We
    would love to have you join us.

    deployed overseas.

    in Afghanistan.
  • Jay Adkins, Advent member, is currently in Basic Training.
